Project Euler is a collection of problems which require mathematical and programming skills to solve in a recreational way. I highly recommend it for every beginner using their language of choice.
(You can use paper and pencil if you want!)
During my first days of programming, I solved the first 100 problems in Project Euler using Java. The problems are very challenging, but every problem solved gave me a feeling of satisfaction – like an unlocked achievement in a game or a mystery divulged in a detective movie.
Last week, I tried to solve again the first 38 problems, but this time using Kotlin. For every item, I crafted the solutions such that they are coded in a “functional” way. My solutions are in my Github. Feel free to contribute. 🙂
